So, before I get into the reason why I decided to give up my citizenship, I just want to talk to you about the process, which it's really not that bad, you know? If you go online, for example, you'll see all these articles of how intense it is, inches, you know? I just think these articles are trying to talk about giving up your citizenship if this is something that you really want to do. So, I just want to quickly talk about the process. First thing, you go on to the US Embassy of whatever country you're in, and you won't go under loss of nationality. I'm not sure if that's the same in all of the countries of the US embassies, but I know the one in Barren (here in Switzerland) assess loss of nationality. You have two forms you have to print out and fill them out and whatnot, plus you have to gather additional documents. These include your birth certificate (if you don't have a US birth certificate but you have a US counselor of birth abroad, definitely show that as well because it's pretty much the same as a birth certificate).
