Please follow the instructions on the website for additional directions and/or documents that will be needed. Tip 1: Use the checklist. The checklist is customized based on your type of application and the information you have entered about yourself. It is important to check because missing documents cost additional photocopy charges, handling, and shipping fees. Use the checklist to avoid unnecessary delays. Tip 2: You will need to include a 1/2 inch by 2 inch passport photo. Please follow the directions on the website for further instructions on a good passport photo. Tip 3: The new OCI application requires your signature in two different places. The first is here, and the second place is here. After signing the two required areas, please use the checklist to check them off. Tip 4: Always include an order form. Make sure you have a true visa outsourcing order form. This is a different form from the OCI application. The true visa outsourcing order form should be completed on the true visa outsourcing website. Tip 5: Remember, when sending the complete application, cut out the barcode with the application ID and affix this application ID and barcode to the outside of your prepaid envelope. Tip 6: Check your money order for the correct amount. Check your money order against your order form for the correct fees. Once your money order is complete, check it off the provided checklist.
